After a long 13 hours on the coach, a few hours on the channel tunnel, and a break down later we arrived at our hotel in Paris. We checked into our hotel room 024, relaxed and recouped for abit then set of into Paris to get away from the paint fumes and drilling from the hotel.
We ventured onto the metro to try and find Paris's famous flea market, Le marche aux puces de Saint-Ouen, sadly we got of a stop to early but ended up very close to the sacre coeur. We saw some interesting food markets, beautiful buildings, shop and side streets. After exploring the streets we decided to stop for lunch in a lovely cafe near the sacre coeur and had crepes for afters.

Jumping on the metro again we decided our next port of call would be Colette, a unique designer shop shocking anything from creative books and designer phones to rubber ducks and sex position condoms. I wish I could have got from pictures from within the store but their were sales assistants everywhere and I got told of a few times. The best thing I found in Colette was some Le Whif chocolate. A few months before the trip we had a lecture on the future of the cosmetics from motivational speaker, food expert and generally interesting woman, Morgaine and she had introduced us to this new innovative chocolate that you dont eat but inhales. I bought it as a present for my mum and still have yet to try it. Its so intriguing. I also loved the blue polka dot toilets and soap dispenser.

Growing tired from our exploring we went on search for somewhere nice to eat. On our way we went past miu miu, john galliano, a shop with an awesome zoo shop windows and had our first sighting of macaroons. Finally we found ourselves a lovely pizza restaurant, pizza nelly and then headed back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
